Between Our Palms
Between Our Palms, a series of incense sculptures made of sawdust, are made by participants who have directly or indirectly supported my practice. Each of them is uniquely formed by an indentation of a participant’s palms put together, which is a gesture of meditating, resting, or praying. The collection of these incense sculptures implies the social entanglement behind any kind of work, activity, and system that we build with our hands.
